bad news, four years later . . .

i just found out that someone i was close to as a child and teen passed away after a long battle with cancer in january 2004. the way i feel now, it could have been yesterday.

Cancer is such a difficult disease to understand. Sometimes life seems so cruel.
It doesn’t matter when it happened, the news is new to you so naturally it is raw. Take your time coming to terms with your loss.
