welcome to the rantings and ravings of a close-to-thirty medical coder. fun times.
this is what my life is all about:
- my two cats
- my crazy job
- food
- oh, yeah . . . and the girl in my life, liz
surprisingly, these few things seem to keep me busy.
i like to read, watch bad tv, harass the kitties and i love yoga-but i don’t practice all that much. most of my free time is spent doing nothing of any consequence. for example:
today liz and i went to costco to droll over food in bulk packaging (none of which is really practical for a childless couple to be purchasing) and mope around the electronics because we desperately want a digital camera but can’t rationalize spending money on one. we bought bread, and got a hot dog and frozen yogurt for lunch on the way out. i took a nap with my head on a cat, i drooled on him while i was asleep. we went out for a walk at dusk because this is the best time to try and peer in our neighbours windows. here i am now and that is it.
my crazy job is practice manager at a small doctor’s office, where life is a hoot. the dr. is a basket case . . . every day is great (really, i mean it). i manage the daily goings-on, patient traffic, billing issues, coding. basically my job is to fix problems, and it seems like some days troubleshoot is all i do.
so, i guess we’ll see what happens.

It’s pretty in here. And pleasant. I will visit often.
